Blossoms in September, VanDusen Gardens

September Blossoms, VanDusen Gardens

The southeast corner of British Columbia hosts a number of botanical gardens, green spaces that contain native and imported flowers, ferns, shrubs, and trees. If plants were animals, these centres would be called zoos. Some contain indoor facilities but most are outdoor facilities. The most widely known garden, arguably perhaps, are the Buchart Gardens on Vancouver Island.

The VanDusen Gardens in Vancouver are comparable Buchart in size and diversity of plant life. Notably, flowering plants display their blooms and different time of the year. Consequently, the gardens are constantly changing. The photos in this collection ere taken in September 2022.
