Tsawwassen Marmots

Yellow-Bellied Marmots inhabit alpine grasslands and arid mountains from northern Alberta to central New Mexico and from the Colorado Rockies to the Sierra Nevada in California. Recently they have settled in southwestern British Columbia at sea level elevations.

These photos were taken on the seawall south of Roberts Bank near the extreme southwestern tip of mainland British Columbia.
