Swallows and Bushtits


Swallows and bushtits are small birds with contrasting looks and hunting styles. Swallows capture insects in the air an the fly whereas bushtits fkit from leaf to branch hunting insects crawling on bark and leaves. Swallows are colourful creatures whereas bushtits are shades of brown and grey.

These photos were taken of birds living in the South Mainland of British Columbia.
