Green Timbers Urban Forest Park

Green Timbers Urban Forest Park

Green Timbers Park is a component of Surrey's implementation of MetroVancouver's 2050 plan for the future of City of Vancouver writ large. Green Timbers Urban Forest Park is Surrey's largest green space. With over 2000 hectares of space, the Park offers over 10 km of nature trails and a lake for fishing. The land that became the Park was logged completely in 1929. Trees were planted and the Park is pointed to as the birthplace of reforestation in British Columbia.
