I spent 35 years teaching at the University of Calgary. In 2014. I moved into a delightful apartment in Burnaby, a community next door to Vancouver. When I retired, I started writing short-short fiction pieces, continued working on a mineralogical project left over from my university days, and photographing whatever found itself in front of my camera lens.
This web site is for those of you who might be interested in flash stories, optical mineralogy, volcanic petrology, the odd essay, and amateur photography.
